Photo books for Arles 2024

In their photo volume 'On Listening to Trees', ALBARRÁN CABRERA show their special relationship with trees. However, they are mainly concerned with exploring man's relationship with nature, for example by using the writings of the novelist Hermann Hesse.

The photo book 'Dogtown' by Dotan SAGUY deals with the dogs of Venice Beach, California, an area that comprised the slums of Venice and Santa Monica's Ocean Park in the 1960s and 1970s. The four-legged friends are often part of the skateboarding culture.
